The youngest person in WSOP History at the age of 22, Peter Eastgate wins the 2008 Poker Tournament. Eastgate, from Denmark (Danmark) is one of the highest achieving sportsman in very long time.

Peter Eastgate won the pot of $9.15 million dollars. He had tons of family and friends supporting him. Peter Eastgate was an accountant before becoming a professional poker player. In school, Eastgate was always fascinated with numbers and when he tried to play poker it was a match made in heaven.


At a young age, he managed to keep his cool throughout the WSOP main event final table against young Russian Ivan Demidov. The final took 16 hours to complete!
